This prize, recognizing excellence in middle grade fiction, was offered only in the years 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. The Kraken Book Prize is not an ongoing contest opportunity beyond these four years. We are deeply appreciative of all the talented writers who submitted their manuscripts for this prize. It was our pleasure, indeed, to consider them.
